It is always better to manage risk. I am a great believer in prevention and insurance.

You Should Insure FOR SURE! by: Ben, Salt Lake City, UTAH
Here in Salt Lake City, there is a local hero of sorts, David Dahlstrom. It took him years to clear his name after identity theft. The man stole Dave's wallet and spent years committing crimes in Dave's name. My wife and I have identity theft insurance off the back of Dave's troubles. Doesn't matter where else we have to cut back, we feel the insurance is a top priority.

I have checked the story from Ben with a Google search here:
Ben, thank you for sharing this story with us. For readers who doubt the seriousness of identity theft it is worth following the link and reading about the case Ben is referring to.

To Insure or Not To Insure by: TJ
Shocking story -- makes you see what can happen if someone is acting as you. You could end up doing their jail time. Insurance costs $ and money is tight with the recession. Seems prices are going up every time I open a bill. How can I justify insurance? Not sure whether to get insurance.
